Frequently Asked Wedding Questions

I get it, this is your first time, and you’re curious how this whole thing works. Thankfully, I’ve done this before and I’m here to help! If you have any specific concerns, I’m happy to address them on our call or over email, but here are the answers to some of my most common questions:

“How do I know you’ll be a good fit?”

Your photographer and videographer are one of the few people that will be alongside you for your entire wedding experience. It’s important that you don’t just like my work, but we get along well! This is why an introductory call is so important to me. I want us to get to know each other! My goal is to make you feel happy and comfortable while I bring your vision to life, so let’s chat, and you can decide if we’ll be a good fit!

“What’s your experience with weddings?”

I’ve been taking pictures and filming videos since I was 13 years old. When I was 17, I started shooting my first weddings. I’ve been doing this as my full-time career since 2022, and part-time for 3 years before that. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, and I absolutely love what I do. But don’t take my word for it, check out my work!

“How do I book with you?”

First, we can get to know each other over a video call, then, if you’re ready, I just need a signed contract and a 30% non-refundable deposit to lock down your date. If you’re ready to book, the first step is to head over to my contact page and send me your info!

“Do i need a second shooter for my wedding?”

Great question! For photography, I highly recommend it, but it’s up to you. Photos are quicker to capture than video, so one photographer can still get everything, but I can’t be in two places at once! The extra angle can capture a lot of great extra memories to your wedding day. If you plan on getting ready in different locations, and not at your venue, a second photographer can make sure we capture both of you before the ceremony. Video is more involved. There’s more equipment to manage, and each video clip takes a little longer to get than a still photo. Because of this, all my video packages include a second videographer, because I’m dedicated to telling your story in the best way I can.

“Who is your second shooter?”

In my years in the industry, I’ve made connections with many very talented individuals. I wouldn’t bring anyone whom I wouldn’t trust to capture my own wedding day. My photographers and videographers all shoot to my preferred style, so no matter who I select, you’ll still get a stunning and cohesive experience. Exactly who I select for your wedding will depend on the date and their availability. Once we confirm your booking, I can tell you exactly who I’ll be bringing.

“When will I see the finished product?”

I like to give you a handful of photo sneak-peaks right away, my standard turnaround time for everything else is a maximum of 6 weeks. If your wedding is outside of the busy season (June-September) I may be able to get them to you even quicker.
